What is Holistic Nutrition?

The philosophy of holistic nutrition is that one’s health is an expression of the complex interplay between the physical and chemical, mental and emotional, as well as spiritual and environmental aspects of one’s life and being. This requires fully engaging the individual in their journey to a healthier lifestyle and honouring their innate wisdom by working in an empowering and cooperative manner to chart a course to optimal health.

Holistic Nutritional Consultants are trained to approach health and well-being from a whole-person perspective. Using nutritional education as a primary tool and understanding the uniqueness of each individual, the nutritional consultant reviews eating habits, food intolerances and allergies, lifestyle (stress, sleep, movement), and overall well-being. Together with the client, the consultant creates a plan to encourage and support the individual in their journey towards a healthier lifestyle and their wellness goals.

Holistic nutrition is all about you. It finds what works best for each individual, considering your current health, the foods you like, allergies, intolerances, stress, sleep, and movement, and then developing a plan that supports you.
